Dr. Nessa Thomas (formerly Dr. Pathiyil) is a board-certified pediatric dentist with a passion for prevention, gentle care, and creating positive dental experiences that last a lifetime. With advanced training in behavior management and oral conscious sedation, she’s known for her calm, friendly approach—and her ability to make even the most nervous kids feel right at home.
As a proud Sunnyvale resident and future Sunnyvale ISD mom, Dr. Thomas is deeply rooted in the community she serves. She believes prevention is the best medicine and loves helping families build strong, healthy habits from the very first tooth.
When she’s not caring for little smiles, you’ll find her hiking, testing new recipes, or tackling her next DIY project with her husband and child by her side.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
